TurboStone™ — Pumice, Rebuilt for the Job
TurboStone™ is a family of drill-powered, water-ready pumice cleaning tools designed for stubborn mineral deposits, hard-water buildup, toilet rings, rust staining, limescale, pool calcium scale, and other jobs where ordinary brushes and hand scrubbing may not be enough.
Traditional pumice is usually used as a handheld stone or stick. TurboStone rebuilds pumice into a purpose-shaped powered cleaning tool with an internal drive core and a selectable StoneLife level.
Fully wet the stone before use, attach the included adapter to a standard variable-speed cordless drill, and use low to moderate speed with light to moderate pressure.

TurboStone Classic
The compact tapered cone. Good for toilet bowls, curved surfaces, concentrated deposits, edges, and general cleaning.
TurboStone Beef Cone
The larger tapered version with approximately 37% more working volume than the Classic. More pumice for longer cleaning sessions while keeping the useful cone-shaped working profile.
TurboStone Wide Load
A short, broad TurboStone designed for larger contact areas and steadier side-pressure cleaning. The SL4 Heavy Duty version is the recommended starting point for sustained pool calcium and mineral-scale removal.
Choose Your StoneLife
TurboStone is intentionally available in different wear behaviors.
SL1 — Highest Paste
Fastest controlled wear and the greatest pumice paste production.
SL2 — Balanced
More working life while maintaining meaningful paste production.
SL3 — Firm
Slower wear and stronger shape retention for longer sessions.
SL4 — Heavy Duty
Minimal paste production with long working life and strong shape retention.
SL5 — Extreme
Maximum StoneLife with little to no visible paste production.
Lower StoneLife means more paste and faster controlled wear. Higher StoneLife means less paste and longer shape retention.
There is no single “best” StoneLife. The right version depends on the surface, deposit, working area, and the balance between fresh pumice release and stone longevity that the job requires.
Why Does TurboStone Wear?
TurboStone is a consumable abrasive tool.
Controlled wear is part of how pumice works. As the surface gradually wears, fresh abrasive is exposed. Lower StoneLife versions also create more wet pumice paste or slurry during cleaning.
TurboStone was not designed around the idea that the hardest possible stone is automatically the best stone. A very firm abrasive may last longer, but a more sacrificial formulation can conform more easily and continuously expose fresh pumice.
That is why TurboStone offers multiple StoneLife levels instead of one universal hardness.
Water-Ready Pumice
TurboStone is designed to be thoroughly wetted before powered use.
Its aggregate structure contains interconnected pathways that allow water to move throughout the working body. Keeping TurboStone wet also helps carry loosened pumice and mineral debris away from the working surface.
TurboStone should not be used dry.

Surface materials and finishes vary. TurboStone is abrasive, so always test a small inconspicuous area first and stop if scratching, dulling, or unwanted surface change occurs.
Drill-Powered Pumice
People sometimes search for a pumice drill bit, powered pumice stone, drill pumice cleaner, toilet ring drill attachment, or pool calcium removal tool.
TurboStone was developed specifically to bring pumice into a powered wet-use format rather than simply attaching a natural pumice block to a drill.
A custom internal core helps transfer rotational force into the stone while the pumice body performs the cleaning.
Use a standard variable-speed cordless drill, not an impact driver. Start slowly, use controlled speed, and keep the drill and battery out of the water.
Built-In Wear Indicator
As TurboStone reaches the end of its powered service life, the internal black core becomes visible.
At that point, discontinue drill-powered use. Remaining pumice material may still be removed and used manually for tight areas, corners, and touch-ups.
Small-Batch Made in Iowa
TurboStone is developed and produced in small batches in Iowa.
Each stone is molded around a purpose-built internal drive structure, cured, inspected, and prepared for shipment individually.
